Oh so close. The Houston Texans lost a very important home game to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Despite being 3 point favorites at our favorite sportsbook, Bookmaker, the Texans lost the game straight up. Defense was lacking this entire game as Maurice Jones-Drew tore up our Texan’s defense. What was the worst running defense coming into the game – surely still is after that.  Matt Schaub wasn’t to fault for the Texans as he threw a number of great touchdowns and led drives when he needed it. One costly Texan’s turnover gave Jacksonville the ball with little time left and in the end, the game.

“We’re giving up some big, big plays and struggling to stop somebody,” Houston coach Gary Kubiak said.

Seems like an understatement to me. Giving up LOTS of big plays. Houston can rebound as they play Oakland at home this coming weekend.  They need to find a way to get Steve Slaton out of his 3 game slump here! Thoughts on this game between the Texans and Raiders?
